This Incredibly cool typewriter designed to create art
American painter (Tyree Callahan) converted the old typewriter from 1930’s into a machine that prints colours rather than letters. Characters on the keys were replaced with colours and paint blocks were attached to type-bars. You can type A painting on a color typewriter.
For each letter of the alphabet, he allotted a particular hue – the theory is that by tapping them in various combos, the ‘writer’ will create some truly vivid and peculiar art.
So would it actually be possible to really type out your own art instead of painting by hand?
